Personality and Professional Development Sessions

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida in collaboration with Success Skill Academy organized a three-day interactive session on “Personality and Professional Development” from 15th -17th April 2025 for first year students.Capt. (Retd.) ManjulaKatoch (Co-founder and Training Head) was the resource person for the session.
The main objective of the session was to enhance students' personal and professional skills preparing them to meet the expectations of the corporate world. The session focused on helping students develop a confident personality, effective communication skills, leadership qualities and a positive attitude towards their academic and professional journeys.
Prof. (Dr.) Arpita Gupta warmly welcomed Capt. (Retd.) ManjulaKatoch and gave a brief introduction about her rich background in leadership training and professional development. Capt. Manjula then started the session with an engaging talk on the importance of self-awareness and personal grooming. She guided the students through various essential aspects such as building self-confidence, mastering verbal and non-verbal communication, professional etiquette, emotional intelligence, and time management. The session included interactive activities like group discussions, role-plays, and case studies that encouraged students to participate actively. Capt. Manjula also highlighted the significance of a positive attitude, adaptability, and teamwork in professional and personal growth, using real-life examples to make the session relatable and impactful.
Throughout the three days, students remained highly enthusiastic and engaged gaining valuable insights into how soft skills complement technical knowledge. Special emphasis was given to interview preparation techniques, resume building, public speaking skills and making a lasting first impression in professional settings. The resource person’s dynamic approach and personalized guidance left a strong impact on the students motivating them to work on their personal development goals. The event successfully achieved its aim of empowering students with practical tools and strategies to enhance their personality and professionalism, thereby better preparing them for the challenges of both academic and corporate life
