NTPC "Electron Quiz 2017"

NTPC-DBF-HQ organized the Regional Round of NCR - Electron Quiz-2017 at NTPC PMI - Noida on August 12, 2017. The event was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of lamp in the presence of Chief Guest Mr. D K Sood, Executive Director (DBF HQ NTPC). About 65 teams from Engineering and Management Institutes of NCR participated in event, which included Faculty of Management Studies (FMS- Delhi University), Delhi Technological University (DTU - New Delhi), Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS-Pilani) and Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS- Delhi University). Mr. Sujit Verky, AGM (NTPC) was the Quiz Master of the event.
Three teams from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida participated in the Quiz Competition. The participants were Naveen Chaturvedi and Sandipan Samanta from Civil engineering Department, Adarsh Kumar and Ayush Bhardwaj from Mechanical Engineering Department and Dravid Nagi and Chhaya Lodhi from Computer Science.
The event comprised in two sections:-
The first round was a written preliminary round, where participating teams took an objective type questionnaire. The top 6 teams from this written test qualified for the on-stage final round. The final round was a 7 round multimedia show, with a variety of formats used to test contestants on their knowledge and ability to recall information, puzzles, anagrams and rapid-fire questions added spice to the contest and the content. The quiz was a general quiz with a leaning towards business and corporate affairs.
