ORIENTATION PROGRAMME (Batch: 2017 - 18)

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an Orientation Program for First Year Students (Batch 2017-2018) on 5th August 2017. Ms. Devangi Grover, Assistant Professor, APS Department welcomed the Students and Parents to the program.
The Orientation Program began with the lighting of lamp by the Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Soti, Director, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Prof. B L Kaul, Registrar, DGI, Greater Noida and Students and Parents representatives. It was followed by Saraswati Vandana.
Prof. Ashish Soti, introduced the Department Heads and requested the parents to be in touch with them in order to check the progress of their wards on regular intervals.
2nd and 3rd Year student representatives from different departments, Rishika Razdan, Yashwant, Saurabh Kumar, Adarsh, Divya Chaturvedi, Dravid Nagi, Apritm Singh, Richa Kapoor, Sudhanshu Ranjan Chaudhary, Rohit Kumar Sahu and Vidit presented the glimpses of their respective department.
Prof. B. L. Kaul, Registrar, DGI, Greater Noida briefed the students about the rules and regulations of the institute and requested the students and parents to adhere to them in the interest of students’ well-being.
Ms. Prachi Aggarwal, Head, Training & Placement Cell discussed the operational goals of placement and various other activities conducted by the Cell.
Prof. T. P. N. Singh, Advisor R&D, briefed about the research activities being under taken by the students and faculty members of DGI.
Dr. Mamta Tomar, Associate Professor, Applied Sciences and Humanities, proposed the Vote of Thanks.
The program ended with the National Anthem.
