Expert Talk on "Possible Career Options in Full Stack Development"

CSI Student Chapter, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an expert talk on "Possible Career Options in Full Stack Development” on 4th November 2024. Mr. Sumit Minocha (Business Development Manager at WEYTEC) India was invited as keynote speaker. Mr. Mukesh Kumar Bhardwaj was the faculty coordinator of the talk. 75 students attended the talk.
The session aimed to help students understand the skills required, explore potential roles and industries and gain knowledge about current market trends and future prospects in the field of full-stack development.
Prof. (Dr.) Arpita Gupta (Director, DGI) warmly welcomed Mr. Sumit Minocha and presented him with a sapling as a gesture of appreciation. After giving a brief introduction Dr. Arpita invited Mr. Minocha to take the podium and continue with the session.
Mr. Minocha started the session and emphasized the importance of acquiring both front-end and back-end development skills, and how full stack development can open doors to diverse career paths in software engineering, data analytics, and web development. He then explained roles of full-stack developers in building and maintaining web applications, the demand for these professionals across various industries, and the essential skills, such as proficiency in JavaScript, Python, React, and Node.js. Real-life examples were also shared to showcase how full-stack developers contribute to the success of startups, enterprises, and freelance projects
He also shed light on emerging trends in the field, such as the integration of AI, cloud computing, and DevOps in full-stack development. He encouraged students to continuously upskill and stay updated with technological advancements to enhance their employability.
The session concluded with a Q&A segment, where students received personalized advice, making it an invaluable experience for aspiring and practicing full-stack developers alike.
