Virtual Lab Workshop

IEEE Student Chapter, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida in collaboration with IIT Delhi organized a workshop on “Virtual Lab” for 1st year students on 25th November 2024.
The primary goal of the session was to provide hands-on experience in using virtual laboratory simulations enabling participants to enhance their understanding of complex concepts through innovative digital tools.
Virtual labs offer a platform for conducting experiments across various disciplines without the need for physical lab infrastructure. These experiments can be categorized by discipline, such as physics, chemistry, biology, computer science and programming, electronics and electrical engineering, mechanical and civil engineering, environmental science, and mathematics.
The session was inaugurated by felicitating the Chief Guest by Dr. S. K. Srivastava, Registrar of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida after that session was continued by the valued guest. Experts from the field demonstrated the use of various virtual lab platforms, showcasing simulations of experiments in physics, chemistry, and engineering domains. He further emphasized the advantages of virtual labs, such as accessibility, cost-effectiveness, and safety while encouraging students to integrate these tools into their academic journey
Lab sessions were conducted for the students. Finally, session was concluded by giving the vote of thanks by Prof. Sanghamitra V. Arora, HOD-ECE, EEE, ECZ of Dronacharya Group of Institutions. Overall the session was fruitful and praised by all the students as well as faculty members.
