Celebration of National Constitution Day

NSS Units, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Gautam Budh Nagar organized guest lecture and activities like essay competition, the creation of a mural of the Preamble, and a quiz competition on 26th November 2024 to celebrate National Constitution Day. Ms Snegdha Singh, (District Youth Officer Gautam Budh Nagar) was the guest speaker of the lecture.
The objective of the celebration was to honor the adoption of the Indian Constitution, raise awareness about its significance, and encourage active participation in civic duties.
Highlights of the Event
Guest Lecture:
Ms Snegdha Singh, delivered an inspiring speech on the importance of the Constitution and the role of youth in safeguarding democratic values. The guest emphasized the need for awareness and active participation in upholding constitutional ideals.
Essay Competition:
Next was an essay competition on the theme “The Relevance of the Indian Constitution in Contemporary India.” Students from B.Tech and MBA participated enthusiastically, showcasing their understanding of the Constitution and its role in ensuring justice, equality, and liberty. The eassy was judged on content, originality, and presentation with winners being felicitated at the end of the program.
Mural of the Preamble:
A collaborative effort by the NSS volunteers resulted in a vibrant mural of the Preamble of the Indian Constitution. These creative murals not only highlighted the core values of the Constitution but also served as a reminder of its timeless significance in guiding the nation.
Quiz Competition:
A Constitution-themed quiz competition was conducted to engage students in an interactive learning experience. Questions ranged from historical milestones in the making of the Constitution to the rights and duties enshrined within it. Teams from various departments competed zealously, making the event both educational and entertaining. The winners were awarded certificates and prizes.
