GROZ Merit Scholarship Program

Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, conducted "GROZ Merit Scholarship Program" to support and recognize the academic achievements of meritorious students pursuing Mechanical Engineering on 3rd January 2025. Guest speakers for the program were Mr. Ajay Kumar Rawat, (General Manager of GROZ) and Mr. Himanshu Shankar (Working with GROZ tools as a Corporate HR).
The initiative underscores GROZ's commitment to fostering excellence in education and empowering the next generation of engineers. The scholarship program was to celebrate academic brilliance and provide financial assistance as tuition fees for the third year students of Mechanical Engineering.
The event commenced with a warm welcome of guest speakers by Prof. (Dr.) Arpita Gupta, (Director, DGI). She highlighted the vision and mission of the GROZ Merit Scholarship Program. Mr. Ajay Kumar Rawat emphasized on the importance of education and innovation in Mechanical Engineering. He focused on the emerging trends in core engineering and shared the career guidance for the students. Mr. Himanshu Shankar shared his thoughts on HR round and motivated students for career growth. The talk concluded with an interactive session where students, faculty and industry professionals exchanged ideas and discussed future opportunities.
Dr. Saket Kumar demonstrated about GROZ's engineering tools and technologies, inspiring students to explore innovative solutions in their field. Next selection process for scholarship started which was rigorous, ensuring transparency and fairness. Students were evaluated on their academic records, recommendation letters, and a personal interview.
Two students’ Arihant Jain (Roll No. ME-17611) and Himanshu Kumar Rana (Roll No. ME-17884) of 3rd year ME department were awarded cheque as a financial grant of amount one lakh forty one thousand and eight hundred based on academic performance, extracurricular involvement, and financial need.
