4th Smart Cities India 2018 Expo

B.Tech students of CSE, CSIT, ECE ,M.E and Civil Engineering Department of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida attended 4th Smart Cities India 2018 Expo on 25 May 2018 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Ms.Rasveen and Mr.Shubhankar, Asst.Professor-Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Civil Engineering accompanied the students.
The 4th Smart Cities India 2018 expo was inaugurated by Shri C.R. Chaudhary Union Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare.
The expo was held to attract industry experts and leaders from the city, government and community to share their views and proposals to make cities more sustainable, efficient, transparent, and, above all, enhance the quality of life of its residents. From ground-breaking start-ups to blue-chip multinationals, companies from 40 countries unveiled the latest in technology products and services.
This trade show brought together global industry leaders, exhibitors, industry associations, speakers, government administrators, municipal bodies, urban planning experts, investors, pioneers, technology innovators, architects, academia and the media to envision the cities of tomorrow. Government and business delegations from all across the globe attended the expo.
This mega event incorporated five expos with the view to develop attractive, safe and smart cities that evoke pride, passion and a sense of belonging among citizens:

- Transport India Expo
- Smart Cities India Expo
- Water India Expo
The ideas presented in the exhibition were very informative. It will assist the students to implement these ideas in projects and enhance their knowledge in different fields.
