World Ozone Day

32 YEARS AND HEALING 

NSS Wing Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida has organised an Ozone Day Awareness Program in College Campus from 10^th – 16^th September, 2019. 

The celebrations were conducted under the aegis of DGI NSS from 10^th - 16^th September and witnessed active participation of around 200 students of the college. 

The celebrations focused on sensitising students through awareness activities on topics related to climate change, ozone depletion and Plastic Waste and Personal Hygiene with the active participation of the students. 

The day commemorates the signing of the Montreal Protocol in 1987 on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer; the year 2019 marks its 32nd anniversary. Prof. S.K.Srivastava stated that DGI has always created awareness on protection of the environment. 

Internal celebrations around the environment themes were also organised with numerous events including Poster Presentation, Face Painting on the theme of ‘Ozone Depletion & Environment Awareness’ along with games like Treasure Hunt, Logo Designing, etc., that formed part of the 6 day-long activity. 

The winners were presented certificates and prizes by Prof. S.K.Srivastava.
