Quiz on "World Blood Donor Day"

NSS Unit, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized Quiz on “World Blood Donor Day” on 14th June, 2023. 60 enthusiastic students of B.Tech first year participated in the quiz. The event was coordinated by Mr. Gopal Singh (NSS Coordinator.) The student Coordinator was Ms. Chhavi Chaudhary (B.Tech 2nd year).
The primary goal of organizing the quiz was not only to test participant’s knowledge but to inspire them to become blood donors and save lives.
The topic of the quiz was “Give blood, give plasma, share life, share often.” The quiz focused upon facts about blood donation. There were 3 rounds and time limit to answer the stated questions was told to the participants beforehand. It also focused on patients requiring life-long transfusion support and underlined the role every single person can play, by giving the valuable gift of blood or plasma to a needy person. The students also discussed about the role of World Health Organization and benefits of blood donation.
Overall, Quiz was a fantastic way to spread awareness and knowledge about the importance of blood donation.
