Awareness campaign on Drug Abuse

NSS unit, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida conducted an Awareness Campaign on “Drug Abuse” on 12th June, 2023 for the students to increase awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse and motivate the students towards a drug free life.
Students participated in campaign by taking pledge for "Say Yes to Life, No to Drugs”.
To address the pressing issue of Drug abuse, Prof. (Dr.) Riyu Soryan (Counseling Head) endeavoured to create awareness among the students about the dangers of using Drugs. She educated college students about the risks, consequences and prevalent drug abuse trends. She also highlighted the impact of drug abuse on academic performance, personal relationships and overall well- being. She also encouraged open communication with the students and guided them towards availability of counselling cell in the college campus in times of need.
Lastly, students took pledge to build a healthier, drug free future.
