DRON INNOVISION - 30 hours Hackathon
3rd - 4th October 2025
Department of CSE-AIML in association with R&D Cell & Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized “DRON INNOVISION 2025” from 3rd – 4th October 2025 (30 hours Hackathon). The event served as a platform for aspiring developers and innovators to transform their creative ideas into functional technological prototypes within a limited timeframe. The hackathon aimed to foster innovation, problem-solving, teamwork, and technical excellence, encouraging students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges. The event was organized under the leadership of Prof. Ram Gopal Sharma, Head, CSE- AIML department.
The event was inaugurated on 3rd October 2025 in the Computer Center 1 in the esteemed presence of Prof. (Dr.) Sangeeta Mangesh, Director, Prof. Sanghamitra V Arora, RDC Head and Incubation Convener and, Dr. Shailesh Kumar Singh, Registrar of the institution. The ceremony was graced by event convenor Prof. Ram Gopal Sharma, all Heads of Departments, along with faculty members and a large number of enthusiastic participants.
DRON INNOVISION 2025 aimed to inspire participants to create innovative solutions addressing real-world challenges. It provided a platform to showcase coding, design, and problem-solving skills while enabling networking with mentors and industry experts. Focusing on software and hardware projects, the event promoted teamwork, creativity, and technological innovation, encouraging students to transform ideas into impactful solutions.

On 3rd October 2025 with an inauguration ceremony, followed by the Idea Pitching session where 53 teams presented innovative solutions across Smart India Hackathon domains. After the first evaluation, 20 teams advanced to the development stage. The 30-hour hackathon fostered a highly
energetic and competitive environment, with mentors and judges providing continuous guidance and feedback.
On 4th October with its final round of the hackathon was evaluated by two distinguished industry experts - Mr. Lovkesh, Senior Software Engineer at RT Camps, and Mr. Ankit Yaduvanshi, Winner of Smart India Hackathon 2022 (Hardware Category).
Top teams were awarded Certificates of Excellence and cash prizes: Rs. 15,000, Rs. 10,000, and Rs. 5,000, while all participants received e-certificates.
