National Innovation Day
(Technical Poster Competition)

Institution Innovation Council (IIC)andDepartment of Mechanical Engineering of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a Technical Poster Presentation Competition on 15th October 2025 to markNational Innovation Day, held in remembrance of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the “Missile Man of India.” The event, themed“Innovative ideas in the fields of Science, Engineering, and Technology”,provided an excellent platform for students to display their creativity, technical knowledge, and inventive thinking across various scientific and technological domains.
The competition aimed to promote a culture of innovation and research-oriented learning among budding engineers. Participants were encouraged to design and present posters that effectively communicated their original concepts, research findings, or technological innovations through visual storytelling. The event was conducted from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., where students displayed a wide range of posters highlighting advancements and problem-solving ideas across various fields of technology.
The primary objective of the competition was to provide an avenue for students to express complex technical ideas in a concise and visually appealing manner while enhancing their presentation and analytical skills. It also sought to nurture an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset, motivating students to think beyond theoretical learning and apply their knowledge to real-world challenges.
