United Arab Emirates University; ICCAS-2025
7th - 10th October 2025
Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida had the opportunity to present its research papers at the First International Conference on Climate Action and Sustainability (ICCAS-2025), organized by the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) from October 7–10, 2025. The event, hosted by one of the most prestigious institutions in the Middle East, served as a leading global forum focused on low-carbon development, sustainable solutions, and climate-resilient innovations. ICCAS-2025 brought together professors, researchers, industry professionals, engineers, and students from across the world to discuss emerging ideas, present recent advancements, and contribute to the global dialogue on climate action. Conducted in both face-to-face and virtual modes, the conference aligned closely with the United Nations’ sustainability vision and global climate priorities.
DGI’s students and faculty presented their research paper titled “Strengthening Climate Adaptation Through Energy, Water, and Food System Interlinkages.” The paper, authored by Mr. Vishal Chaudhary, Mr. Arihant Jain, Mr. Avnish Rathour, Mr. Himanshu Kumar Rana, Dr. Saket Kumar, and Dr. Shailesh Kumar Singh, explored the critical interdependencies within the Energy–Water–Food (EWF) Nexus. The study adopted a multidisciplinary lens to analyse how integrated management of these interconnected systems can enhance sustainability, improve resource efficiency, and reduce vulnerability to climate-induced disruptions. Using case studies, modeling tools, and scenario-based evaluation, the research emphasized that coordinated governance and cross-sectoral policy planning are essential to building resilient and sustainable EWF systems for long-term development.
The presentation was well received by the session chairs and participants, who appreciated the relevance, clarity, and scientific depth of the work. The students gained significant academic exposure and benefited from the guidance of their faculty mentors, who supported them throughout the research and presentation process. Their participation in a globally recognized conference marked an important milestone in fostering a strong research culture within the institution. It enhanced their confidence, broadened their academic outlook, and inspired peers to engage more actively in research and innovation.
Overall, DGI’s involvement in ICCAS-2025 provided valuable insights into international research standards, emerging climate technologies, and advanced methodological approaches. The successful presentation of the institution’s research work reinforced DGI’s commitment to nurturing young researchers, promoting innovation, and contributing meaningfully to global sustainability efforts.
