Hands-On Session on “Database with AI”

Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida conducted an engaging Hands-On Session on “Database with AI” for B.Tech Final Year students on 6th October 2025. The session was designed to connect classroom knowledge with industry practices by exploring the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into contemporary database technologies.
The session’s key objectives included introducing students to AI-powered databases, demonstrating the role of AI in data management and query optimization, and providing exposure to leading database tools such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud (GCP), AWS RDS, EC2, and Snowflake. It also aimed to enhance students’ understanding of how AI can be applied in database administration and performance analysis.
The expert speaker, Mr. Alok Mishra, Consultant Database at HCL Technologies, led the session. With vast experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud, AWS, and Snowflake, Mr. Mishra shared his expertise in implementing AI and Generative AI techniques for database optimization. He discussed cutting-edge topics such as AI-based database automation, predictive analytics, AI-assisted query optimization, and cloud-integrated database intelligence.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 80 Final Year students, who appreciated the practical insights and hands-on learning experience.
