Ericsson Placement Drive

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida hosted the campus placement drive for Ericsson Global India Ltd. for B.Tech 2015 batch on October 17th 2015. The eligible branches were B.Tech ECE, CSE and IT.

This placement was done in association with CoCubes.Com- our hiring partner. Colleges like Amity Institute of Telecom Technology & Management, Banasthali University, Birsa Institute of Technology Sindri, Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Jaypee University of Information Technology, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology - KIIT University, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, National Institute of Technology, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Thapar University participated in the event.
A 12 member delegation including the HR and Technical panel arrived at the college to facilitate the same. The HR TEAM was headed by Ms. Parul Gaur and the Technical TEAM was headed by Mr. Aman. The activity started at 09: 15 AM with the online test as the first activity. Post the registration of the students the test began. It was a 45 mins test with the full focus on Aptitude to gauge the IQ of the students. The test was divided into 2 slots. Post the test, the shortlisting for both the batches were announced and the next round was a Group Discussion.
The students were tested on their communication skills, Leadership qualities and the focus to remain on the relevant topics. All the students tried to prove their mettle in this round.
All the shortlisted students had to now appear for the personal interview. This was a hard nut to crack with the veterans sitting to challenge their worth. There were 9 technical panels and 3 HR panels. The students were gauged on their thorough technical expertise. Challenging, Exciting and Nervous it was a mixed feeling for the students to appear in that round.
All the students shortlisted after Technical panel had to undergo the surveillance of the HR, in terms of fitting in their culture and the flexibility to work.
After the day’s buzzing activities, with some excited, some nervous and some anxious faces the whole activity ended at 08:00 PM with a thank you note from our Director- Dr. Prof. S K Bagga.
