Expert Lecture on How to crack Gate / PSU Exams

SAE Collegiate Club, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an expert lecture by Mr. Sandeep Kumar, Scientist (ISRO) on "How to crack Gate / PSU Exams" on 7th October, 2016.
Dr. S. K. Bagga (Director) welcomed the guest speaker Mr. Sandeep Kumar with a bouquet Then, Prof. D. V. Bhise (HOD, Mechanical Engineering) introduced the guest speaker and welcomed him to proceed with lecture.
Mr. Sandeep started his discussion with the some motivation and inspiration speech. He explained the students the importance of GATE examination He briefed about the numerous opportunities to students which they can get after clearing GATE exam.
He said competitive exams are not all about the mugging up the formula and directly applying them instead a candidate needs to know the principles involved in each concept and derivation. For GATE exam he suggested the students to prepare the subjects according to the weightage of the subject in the GATE exam. For cracking the GATE exams he asked students to start from the bottom and build the concepts from the basics and there should not be any room for confusion. He suggested the books for building the basics and practical approach. He emphasized for smart work and gave formula to achieve maximum output at minimum input. He suggested students to take some test series to evaluate them self and further worked out on plans to improve the performance. He also gave the mantra for cracking IES exam and discussed the new pattern of IES exam as well as books.
In the end there was questionnaire session followed by detailed discussions and Dr. Bagga presented a memento to Mr. Sandeep. The seminar was concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Harshit Kumar (Program Coordinator, DGI).
The session was very interactive and informative as Mr. Sandeep embarked the confidence in the students and made them aware about the strategic ways for preparing of the GATE Exam.
