Attended event "Building World's Largest Autonomous Vehicle Developer Community"

Two faculty members Dr. Saket Kumar and Mr. Ankur Sachdeva along with third year ME Department students, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida attended the event “Building World’s Largest Autonomous Vehicle Developer Community” on 11^th February 2025 organized by NxtWave, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), TIER IV, and The Autoware Foundation

The event marked the launch of a significant movement aimed at redefining mobility through the Autonomous Tech revolution. This initiative is set to drive innovation, skill development, and industry collaboration in the field of autonomous technology, particularly within India’s growing mobility sector.

The event featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, live demonstrations, and networking sessions that provided deep insights into the current landscape and future direction of autonomous vehicle technology. The theme of panel discussion was “The world is going autonomous and India is now here to lead it!”

The event commenced with an inaugural session where representatives from NSDC, NxtWave, TIER IV, and The Autoware Foundation highlighted the significance of fostering autonomous technology in India. Keynote speakers Shri Ved Mani Tripathi, (CEO, NSDC, MD, NSDC International), Mr. Rahul Attuluri (founder and CEO NxtWave), Mr. Shinpei Kato (Founder and CEO of TIER IV, Chairman of Autoware foundation), Mr. Christian John (President of TIER IV North America) emphasized the role of skill development, research, and policy support in accelerating the adoption of autonomous solutions in transportation and logistics. From transportation to robotics, Physical AI is redefining industries. India has the talent, the drive, and the vision. But turning potential into leadership takes more than ambition, it takes action. That’s why NxtWave, NSDC, TIER IV, and The Autoware Foundation are coming together to create something unprecedented. A community of innovators, engineers, and problem-solvers who will shape India’s role in the future of autonomy. The event facilitated valuable networking opportunities, allowing industry leaders, startups, researchers, and policymakers to engage in meaningful discussions and potential collaborations. It also underscored the importance of public-private partnerships in advancing autonomous mobility in India.
