Universal Brotherhood Day Celebration

Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi

Vivekanand Kendra, Kanayakumari, Delhi Branch organized a Run and Cultural Program on Universal Brotherhood Day Celebration on 11th September 2016. 124 NSS Volunteers of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida actively participated in this event. Universal Brotherhood Day is celebrated every year in the remembrance of the epoch speech of Swami Vivekanand delivered during "Parliament of Religions" at Chicago in 1893.

The Run for Universal Brotherhood started at 7:30 AM from Talkatora Stadium. The participants ran through passing through Kalibari Marg, Mandir Marg, RML Roundabout, Baba Khark Singh Marg, Talkatora road and culminated back at Talkatora stadium.

After the Run, The Cultural Events at Talkatora Indoor stadium started with Vedic chants followed by skit presentation by students of various colleges. This was followed by deliberations of some eminent persons on Universal Brotherhood. The event concluded with the performance of a versatile artist Shri Satanarayan Mouriya Ji. At the venue organizers stall offered literature, souvenirs and eateries etc.

The Run for Brotherhood concluded with distribution of certificates and medals followed by refreshment at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.
