CSI UP State Student Convention 2016
"The Guard of Today's Digitization"

CSI Student Branch, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida in collaboration with Computer Society of India organized CSI UP State Student Convention 2016 with a theme "The Guard of Today's Digitization" on 24th September 2016. The objective of the program is to provide a platform for young and energetic minds to come together to address the real life Security problems of Today’s Digitization. Students from DGI along with other colleges like I.T.S, K.I.E.T participated in the program enthusiastically.
Mr. Rajiv Bajaj (CFO, Panasonic AVC) was the Chief Guest of the program. The event was also graced with the presence of Mr. Shiv Kumar (Regional Vice President (North India), Dr. R.C.Tripathi (Chairman, CSI Noida Chapter), Dr. R.D.Tiwari (Director, GNIT,Greater Noida), Dr. D.R.Samashekar (Director, IIMT, Greater Noida), Dr. Kavita Saxena (Hon. Secretary, CSI, Ghaziabad Chapter), Dr. Sanjay Pachaumi (HOD, CSE / IT, IIMT, Greater Noida) and Dr. Rajdev Tiwari (Dean - GNIOT, Greater Noida).
Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Bagga Director, DGI, Greater Noida welcomed the guests and said that the aim of the CSI was to bring all the technocrats to share and explore the knowledge in recent trends. Dr. Bagga, "impressed upon the essence of creativity and innovation which ultimately leads to success".
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajiv Bajaj said that in this competitive era, such an event helps in bringing out the best in students and nurture their talent and propel them as future masters of computer technology.
The Key note address on "The Guard of Today's Digitization" was delivered by Dr. Gaurav Kumar (Director, Magma Research and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.). He cited various examples to make audience understand ethical practices existing in Information and Communication world in a very effective manner.
Mr. Saurabh Agrawal (Regional Student Coordinator, CSI) said that such CSI events motivate the students and help them to be instrumental in their overall development.
Various events were conducted during the convention to ignite young minds towards the path of digital innovations. Contests on "Ethical Coding" and "Code Debugging", "Poster Designing" and "Web Designing" were held.
Dr. R. C. Tripathi and Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Bagga gave away prizes to the winners who were awarded with Prize Money, Medals and Certificates. Below is the list of winners:
