Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Program

17th November 2025

NSS Unit, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, hosted the “Youth Connect 2025” program organised by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. . The event took place on 17th November 2025 in the institute auditorium and witnessed the active participation of 237 students along with 10 faculty members. The session was graced by the presence of the Youth Icon of India, Mr. Yash Dayal Sharma, who served as the keynote speaker for the program.

The event began with a formal welcome of dignitaries, followed by a lamp-lighting ceremony and devotional recital. The Director Dr. Sangeeta Mangesh Karyakarte of Dronacharya Group of Institutions addressed the gathering and welcomed the speaker. This was followed by an introduction to the “Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect” initiative and an overview of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports program, setting the tone for an informative and inspiring session under the guidance of My Bharat.

Mr. Yash Dayal Sharma then delivered a powerful motivational address, urging students to visualize a developed and self-reliant India by 2047. He emphasized the need for discipline, clarity of purpose, strategic thinking, and active community engagement among youth. Highlighting the critical role of young citizens in national development, he explained that progress requires conscious decision-making and a strong sense of personal responsibility.

A major portion of his talk centred on sustainable agriculture, where he discussed the scientific benefits of organic farming and the long-term ecological harm caused by chemical fertilizers. He encouraged students to support natural farming practices to safeguard soil fertility, environmental balance, and future generations. He also spoke about regional problems faced by citizens and explained how youth can implement grassroots solutions by embracing the principles of Panch Pran and the 11 Sankalp to strengthen unity and civic commitment.

Speaker further explained the importance of Jan Bhagidari Andolan, stressing that true public participation begins with individual responsibility. Sharing his personal journey, he illustrated how early leadership experiences shaped his commitment to society. He also discussed the importance of creating supportive ecosystems for innovation, the opportunities within India’s startup landscape, the nation’s advancements in digital technology, and sustainable approaches to issues such as parali management, soil degradation, and long-term energy security. He stressed that innovation, indigenous development, and reduced dependency on foreign technologies are essential for a self-reliant India.

The program concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session where students raised insightful concerns related to innovation outreach, pesticide use, genuine versus superficial motivation, and dealing with resistance to change. Mr. Sharma advised them to focus on real beneficiaries, adopt sustainable farming practices, judge inspiration through aligned actions, and lead by personal example. The event ended with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem. Overall, “Youth Connect 2025” successfully empowered students, strengthened their understanding of national priorities, and motivated them to contribute actively to India’s development journey.
