Visit to Agra

Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities - Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an excursion to Agra on 27 August 2016. First Year B.Tech students along with faculty went for the trip.
The group reached Agra at 11:00am enjoying the journey through Yamuna Expressway.
The team visited the Taj Mahal, the most beautiful of all tomb built in the 17th century by the Mughal King Shah Jahanin memory of his beloved queen, Mumtaj. The multicolored pieces of glass and couplets from the Quran decorated on the side walls attracted students' attention. The four minarets stood as watch men at each of the main building.
The team had a lifetime experience of seeing wonderful pieces of art and architecture. They wondered how could man be so perfect in working out the minute details of art!
After the visit to Taj Mahal, members had mouth - watering lunch at Hotel Atithi.
The return journey resumed at 5:00 pm and the group reached the campus at 8:00PM.
