Women's Day Celebration

1st - 8th March 2023

To celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida celebrated “International Women’s Day” from 1^st - 8^th March, 2023. All the female faculty members, staff members and girl students of the college were the part of the celebration. Many activities and technical sessions by the eminent speakers were the main attraction of the entire week.

The event was coordinated by Prof. Sanghamitra V Arora (HOD, ECE Dept.) Initiating the event, she said about the struggles and the hardships faced by working women. She also motivated students to study well and become financially independent. She also highlighted the need of developing sense of self-esteem. Afterwards, she introduced the Chief Guests - Ms. Swati Grover, Founder – Women Geospatial Coterie (WGC) and Dr. Yogita Shukla, Director – WGC by presenting bouquet to each.

There were many games organized in which all the faculties and students participated and enjoyed to the fullest. The main attraction was the title giving ceremony to all the faculties. All danced to the tunes of traditional and latest songs. In the last, vote of thanks was given by the event coordinator wishing for good health and happiness of all.
