India Design Week 2025 - Grand Finale

Three Teams (Team 1 (AvnishRathour, and Arihant Jain), Team 2 (Rishi, Nitin Rathour) Team 3 (Aman Mishra, Mohit Kumar)) from second and third-year Mechanical Engineering Department along with faculty member Dr. Saket Kumar from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida participated inIndia Design Week (IDW) 2025 held on 29th - 30th April 2025.
India Design Week (IDW) 2025 jointly organized by Autodesk and ICT Academy, was a premier national event aimed at nurturing creativity and innovation among engineering students across India. The Grand Finale of the 6th edition of IDW-2025 was held on 29th - 30th April 2025 bringing together aspiring engineers to tackle real-world challenges through design thinking and advanced digital tools.The event featured a series of workshops and competitions centered aroundAutodesk Fusion software, enabling participants to gain hands-on experience in 3D modeling, simulation and product development. Students from different institutions from northern region of India engaged in a 24-hour design challenge presenting innovative solutions evaluated by a panel of industry experts. IDW 2025 served as a dynamic platform for students to collaborate, learn and showcase their design capabilities fostering a culture of innovation and practical problem-solving in the engineering community.
Among the various teams across the northern region of India, three teams from DGI were the winners of the Design Now Challenge and selected to participate in Grand Finale of India Design Week 2025.
All three teams presented their design for evaluation after a 24-hour long design hackathon to the jury.The teamconsisting of Rishi and Nitin Rathour with member ID: IDW25-4890 showcased an innovative and technically sound design concept that stood out among numerous entries from institutions across the northern region of India. Their efforts were recognized with the "Best Concept Design" award, a testament to their creativity, technical expertise and dedication. The mentorship provided during the training session as curriculum played a vital role in refining the concept and execution contributing significantly to the remarkable achievement. The achievement not only reflects the high standards of learning and mentorship from faculties at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, but also highlights the institution’s commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in design and technology
