Educational Visit "Bharat Mobility Global Expo-Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi"

SAEIndia Collegiate Club, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, organized an educational visit for B. Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) first- and second-year students to the "Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025," held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on 21st January 2025. 40 students from the Mechanical and Electronics Engineering branches participated in the visit, accompanied by Mr. Ankur Sachdeva, Assistant Professor, and Dr. Deepak Kumar, Assistant Professor from the ME Department .
The objective of the visit was to provide students with firsthand exposure to state-of-the-art advancements in the mobility sector and aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications, inspiring students to engage with innovative solutions in the industry and equipping them with valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities within the mobility field.
The expo showcased a diverse range of vehicles, including fossil fuel-powered vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), and battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Prominent automotive manufacturers such as Honda, BMW, Porsche, Toyota, Mercedes, and KIA displayed their flagship products, innovative technologies, and future-oriented concepts.
Students had the opportunity to observe the ongoing transition toward sustainable mobility solutions and gain valuable insights into the engineering principles behind hybrid, fuel cell, and electric vehicle technologies. Technical experts from the participating companies demonstrated the unique features of their vehicles and engaged with students, answering queries and providing in-depth knowledge about advancements in energy efficiency, vehicle design, and environmental sustainability. Notably, one of the B.Tech first-year students participated in the “Slow Race Competition” organized by Hero MotoCorp and secured first prize in the event. Additionally, Transport Corporation of India (TCI) conducted an engaging awareness session on safe driving practices through their “Nukkad” program, providing valuable guidance on road safety.
The visit served as a highly effective learning platform for students, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications. The practical exposure enhanced the understanding of students in emerging technologies and innovations in the automotive domain.
