Visit to IIT Delhi Open House 2025

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, organised an educational visit to the IIT Delhi Open House 2025 on 8th November 2025 for a group of 100 students. The visit, held under the guidance of Dr. Parul Tomar and Dr. Lavi, aimed to expose students to advanced research, innovation, and technology at one of India’s most prestigious institutes. The Open House is an annual event where IIT Delhi showcases research-driven and creative projects developed by its students and faculty, offering a platform to witness how classroom concepts transform into practical technologies that address real-world challenges.
Throughout the visit, students explored various departments and experienced the vibrant atmosphere of the IIT Delhi campus. They observed the effort and scientific thinking that goes into developing inventions and experiments. The enthusiasm within the institute provided students with a closer understanding of the dedication required to build impactful technological solutions.
The students visited several advanced laboratories, including the Virtual Reality Lab, the AI in Healthcare Lab, the Nanoscale Research Facility, and the Smart Materials and Design Labs. These labs introduced them to immersive VR demonstrations, AI-based medical innovations, cutting-edge nanotechnology research, and sustainable design materials. The experience helped simplify complex concepts and made learning both interactive and engaging.
In addition to laboratory tours, students participated in interactive sessions where researchers explained the technical aspects and societal relevance of their projects. They also engaged in meaningful discussions with IIT Delhi faculty and scholars, gaining insights into interdisciplinary research, modern methodologies, and project development processes. These interactions highlighted how engineering, science, and design converge to create transformative technologies.
