ATL Outreach Programme II

Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Dronacharya Group of Institutions organized an ATL Outreach Programme on 16th April 2026 for students of Army Public School, Arun Vihar, under the theme “Igniting Innovation.” Coordinated by ATL Coordinator Prof. (Dr.) Ritu Soryan, the programme aimed to foster creativity, innovation, and experiential learning among Class XII Science students by providing exposure to emerging technologies and practical applications.
The programme began with a warm welcome to the visiting students and teachers, followed by an inspiring address by the Director, Prof. (Dr.) Sangeeta Mangesh Karyakarte. As a gesture of sustainability, plant saplings were presented to the guests. An engaging crossword puzzle activity conducted by B.Tech students created an interactive environment and enhanced participants’ critical thinking skills.
Students were then divided into two groups for hands-on sessions. One group attended a 3D Modeling Workshop conducted by Dr. Saket Kumar, where they learned to convert ideas into functional models. The other group participated in a Web Designing session using Figma, conducted by Prof. Anand Singh, where they explored UI/UX concepts and designed a food delivery application, showcasing their creativity and technical abilities.
The participants also visited the Apple iOS Lab and Robotics Lab. Demonstrations by Prof. Bipin Pandey and Dr. Pallavi Verma provided valuable insights into real-world applications of technology, sparking curiosity and encouraging active interaction. Additional activities, including a presence-of-mind challenge and crossword competition, further promoted teamwork and analytical thinking among students.
The programme concluded with prize distribution for outstanding performers in both competitions and hands-on activities, followed by a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Ritu Soryan. The event ended with a group photograph and refreshments. Overall, the outreach programme was highly informative and impactful, successfully inspiring students to explore technology with confidence and reinforcing the institution’s commitment to nurturing future innovators.
