ATL Outreach Programme
10th April 2026
IIC Cell, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, successfully organized an engaging ATL Outreach Programme on 10th April 2026. The initiative aimed to foster curiosity, creativity, and an innovative mindset among young learners. The programme was led by ATL Coordinator Dr. Ritu Soryan, supported by a dedicated team of student coordinators and volunteers
As part of the outreach, Class XII Science students from Rajkiya Inter College, Ghaziabad, visited the campus to experience a vibrant environment of technology-driven and experiential learning. The students, accompanied by their teachers, were warmly welcomed by Prof. (Dr.) Sangeeta Mangesh Karyakarte, Director of the institution. The welcome ceremony included the presentation of plant saplings to the visiting faculty, symbolizing respect, sustainability, and a shared vision for growth.
The programme commenced with an inspiring address encouraging students to think beyond traditional boundaries and adopt innovation as a way of life. This was followed by an engaging technical session on IoT and Robotics conducted by Dr. Pallavi Verma and Dr. Sanjeev Kumar from the Department of Electronics Engineering. Their simplified approach to complex concepts sparked enthusiasm and made advanced technologies more accessible to the students.
Continuing the learning journey, Prof. Ankita Sharma (Assistant Professor, AIML) delivered an insightful session on Artificial Intelligence, effectively linking theoretical concepts with real-world applications. Her session deepened students’ understanding of AI and its growing importance in today’s technological landscape.
To ensure a balance between learning and engagement, the programme included interactive activities such as a presence-of-mind challenge and a crossword competition. Led by student coordinator Anshika Jain and her team, the crossword activity emerged as a highlight, promoting teamwork, logical reasoning, and active participation.
A major attraction of the programme was the hands-on exposure provided in advanced laboratories. Students explored live demonstrations of IoT and robotics projects, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications.
The excitement continued with an online quiz and a specially curated tech-based quiz focusing on robotics and artificial intelligence. This segment, led by Kartikey Purwar, witnessed enthusiastic participation. The winners - Tulshi (1st position), Muskan (2nd position), and Shabnam (3rd position) - were felicitated with prizes by Prof. Sanghmitra (IIC Convenor) and Registrar Prof. Shailesh Singh.
Overall, the ATL Outreach Programme proved to be a transformative experience, igniting young minds to explore technology with confidence and curiosity. The enthusiasm displayed by the students reflected the programme’s success and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting holistic development.
