Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida successfully organized the Convocation Ceremony for the B.Tech. Batch 2021 - 2025 and MBA Batch 2023 - 2025 on 18th April 2026 with great enthusiasm, pride, and academic dignity. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of the graduating students as they received their degrees and blessings for a bright and successful future. The event was graced by the esteemed presenceof Hon’ble Prof. Jai Prakash Pandey, Vice Chancellor of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), as the Chief Guest, along with Director Prof. (Dr.) B. M. K. Prasad, senior faculty members, dignitaries, parents, and students.
The programme commenced with the registration and seating of degree recipients in the auditorium, followed by the ceremonial Academic Procession, creating an atmosphere of pride and prestige. The formal proceedings began with the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment, followed by the University Kulgeet, fostering a sense of unity and institutional spirit. Director Prof. (Dr.) B. M. K. Prasad warmly welcomed the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, who then formally declared the convocation “Open.” The Director further presented the Annual Report, highlighting the institution’s academic achievements, student accomplishments, and notable milestones.
The Convocation Address delivered by Hon’ble Prof. Jai Prakash Pandey inspired graduates with valuable insights on dedication, honesty, continuous learning, and ethical responsibility in professional life. The highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of degrees, where meritorious students were first honoured by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, followed by department-wise degree conferment by the Director and respective Heads of Departments. The graduates also took the Graduation Oath, administered by Prof. (Dr.) B. M. K. Prasad, pledging to uphold the dignity and values of their professions. Outstanding achievements were also recognized during the felicitation ceremony, including awards for academic excellence, GATE qualification, and departmental performance.
The ceremony concluded with the formal declaration of convocation closure by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, followed by the Vote of Thanks delivered by Deputy Director Prof.Sanghmitra V. Arora. The event ended with the National Anthem, a Group Photograph Session, and lunch for all attendees. The 1st Convocation Ceremony was a memorable and proud occasion, celebrating academic success and inspiring graduates to step confidently into their professional journeys with knowledge, integrity, and determination.
