Blood Donation Camp

NSS units of Dronacharya Group of Institutions (DGI) successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on 10thApril 2026 with the support ofProf. Mamta Bhardwaj (NSS, Program Officer). within the college premises, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, New Delhi. The primary objective of the camp was to promote humanitarian values and encourage voluntary blood donation among students and faculty members.
The event witnessed active and enthusiastic participation, with a total of 74 B. Tech students, along with faculty members, voluntarily donating blood. The medical team from the Indian Red Cross Society ensured proper arrangements, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and donor care throughout the camp.
NSS volunteers played a crucial role in the successful execution of the event. They efficiently managed the registration process, guided donors, and created awareness about the importance and benefits of blood donation. Their dedicated efforts ensured a smooth and well-organized experience for all participants.
The camp not only contributed to saving lives but also helped in spreading awareness about the significance of regular blood donation. It served as a platform to instil a sense of social responsibility and community service among students.
