Facilitation Program - DRON ARJUN AWARDS 2024

Applied Science and Humanities Department, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an Award Facilitation Program -DRON ARJUN AWARDS 2024 on 7th June 2024 to motivate and inspire B.Tech 1st year students.
The primary objectives of the Award Facilitation Program were:
- Recognition of Excellence: To honor students who have demonstrated exceptional performance in academics and other co-curricular activities.
- Encouragement and Motivation: To motivate all students to aim for higher academic standards and personal development.
- Fostering a Competitive Spirit: To instill a healthy competitive spirit among students, encouraging them to perform their best.
- Building a Community: To foster a sense of belonging and community within the institution by celebrating collective and individual achievements.
The event began with a lamp lighting ceremony by Director Prof. (Dr.) Arpita Gupta, Registrar Dr. S K Srivastav along with First Year HOD Dr. Pawan Sharma and his team. The event commenced with a welcome speech by Prof. (Dr.) Arpita Gupta, who highlighted the importance of hard work and perseverance and then Registrar Dr S K Srivastav motivated the students and blessed them.
The awards were given to 40 students who had shown extraordinary skills and talent. The awardees have performed exceptionally in their completion of well recognized NPTEL courses, attended prestigious national and international conferences, workshops, seminars, published papers in well reputed journals (IEEE, Scopus and Springer) & authentic patents, won AKTU Zonal sports, Topped district in Youth Parliament debate competition 2024 and many more such achievements.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Pawan Sharma, Head of the Department (HOD) of First Year, who expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the organizers. He also extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Director, Registrar, and all the first-year faculty members for their support and contributions, making the event a success.
By recognizing and rewarding excellence, the institution has set a high standard for students to aspire to, fostering a competitive yet supportive academic environment. The program not only celebrated current achievements but also laid a strong foundation for future successes, encouraging students to continually strive for excellence in all their endeavors.
