Department of Management Studies, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized the Two-day First International Conference titled "International Conference on Synergy in Progress: Navigating the Future through Multidisciplinary Studies, Technology, Digitalization, Sustainability & Research (ICMDISR-2024) on 28th -29th June 2024. Dr. Ravi Shankar, Professor of Operations, Supply Chain Management, and Business Analytics at the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi was the Chief Guest of the occasion.
The inaugural ceremony saw the participation of 54 delegates, including 260 students and 30 faculty members from various departments such as MBA, ECE, ECZ, EEE, AIML, IT, and Computer Science & Engineering.
The objective of the conference was to provide a platform for interdisciplinary knowledge exchange, showcasing the transformation of digitalization in Indian markets, facilitating new research areas in engineering and management, elevating the importance of sustainable development for saving our planet and encouraging the exchange of knowledge while building harmonious relationships between participants.
The conference commenced with the garlanding of Maa Saraswati and a traditional tika ceremony. The welcome note was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Arpita Gupta ( Director,DGI) whose inspiring speech set a motivating tone for the event. Prof. Gupta warmly welcomed the participants and guests. She and Dr. B.M. K Prasad facilitated the guests with saplings and mementos.
The inaugural ceremony was anchored by Ms. Shiwani Sharma (Faculty CSE Department), and Ms. Aarti Mohan (MBA First Year student). Dr. Arpita Gupta also felicitated the Session Chair, Dr. Ombir Singh (HOD GBU),Dr. Shailesh Singh (HOD ME Department, DGI) Dr. Rahul (Associate GBU). Prof. Sanghamitra V. Arora ( HOD, ECE Department, DGI), Dr. Sunil K. Mishra (Amity University Haryana). Dr. Ritu Soryan facilitated Dr. Bhoomi Gupta, Session Chair from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Delhi.
The Conference Proceedings were released with smiles and received overwhelming appreciation from all participants.
The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Ravi Shankar. In his address, he shared three key mantras of management skills and emphasized the importance of being ethical, humble, and proud citizens. He praised Dronacharya Group of Institutions for providing a platform where young researchers can learn and interact with senior researchers.
Dr. Ravi Shankar highlighted, overcoming challenges is more effective through a top-down approach. He stressed, teachers must be prepared and act as living role models. He mentioned educational institutions should not merely reflect society but should help young minds discover their humanity. He also pointed out that despite numerous educational commissions emphasizing the central role of education in shaping individuals, this goal has not yet been fully realized. Dr. Ritu Soryan, Conference Convener, distributed chocolates and goodies to all participants as a sweet gesture to kick off each event. The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Ritu Soryan, Conference Convener (Co-Chair).
At the end of the inaugural session, a documentary was screened highlighting the MBA program and showcasing participation in various activities. Additionally, international speakers, including Prof. Hannah from Brazil and Prof. Marcia from Germany, delivered their talks online.
Track-1
The first track session was chaired by Dr. Hari Mohan Rai, Assistant Professor at Gachon University, South Korea, and moderated by Ms. Anshika Jain, a student of Dronacharya Group of Institutions. The session included nine presentations.

Track-2
The second track of ICMDISR-2024 focused on multidisciplinary studies that intersect technology advancement, digital transformation, sustainability practices, and innovative research methodologies. Moderated by Aarti Mohan and chaired by Dr. Anu Sayal, this session fostered an environment of knowledge exchange and collaboration, with Ms. Anamika Chaturvedi providing essential support throughout.

Track-3
Dr. Swati Srivastava provided invaluable advice to the participants on a range of topics, including filing patents, acquiring funding, and the importance of a comprehensive bibliography. The participants were benefited greatly from her insights, which enhanced the quality of their work. The entire experience was overwhelmingly positive, leaving everyone feeling inspired and well-informed. This session set a high standard for future events and demonstrated the potential of virtual conferences.

The conference concluded with the certificate distribution. Everyone assembled in the seminar hall for Certificate distribution, where Dr. Ritu Soryan announced the five best presentations and awarded them to the five best paper presenters. Dr. Ritu appreciated the student coordinators for their remarkable work, and they were awarded by the Chief Guest.
