Poster Presentation of Start-ups

Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE), Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a Competition on “Poster Presentation of Start-ups” on 7th – 8th June 2024. B.Tech Final year students participated in the competition. The event was coordinated by Prof. (Dr.) Ritu Soryan (Start-up activity coordinator). The external judges of the competition were Ms Shiwangi Pokhriyal (IIC External Expert) and Ms. Deepika Dang (IIC External Expert). The rules of the competition were pre-articulated to all the participants.
The objective of the presentation was to inspire and showcase entrepreneurial talent through innovative startup ideas among engineering students.
The competition was a unique platform for aspiring student entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative business ideas. On 7th June 2024, students from CSE, ECE, EEE and CSE- AI&ML Department showcased their innovative posters in front of the judges panelist comprising of three faculties from the college and two external members. Participants were given a time frame of 5 minutes to pitch their posters and a further 3 minute Q&A session was held wherein the judges probe deeper into the feasibility, scalability, and innovation of the startups.
On 8th June 2024, Students from CSIT, IT and ME Departments showcased their innovative posters. Based on the competition of two days, the judges shortlisted posters and the winners were announced.
The winners were awarded with certificates of appreciation and all the participants were applauded for the efforts put in by them.
