World Blood Donor Day Celebration

	World Blood Donor Day is celebrated annually on June 14th to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and to thank voluntary blood donors for their life-saving gifts. NSS Unit, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida  in association with Sarvodaya Hospital  organized a special event to mark this significant day. The celebration included a solemn oath-taking ceremony and an appreciation segment to honor the selfless acts of blood donors.
The highlight of the event was the oath-taking ceremony, where all NSS-Volunteers pledged their commitment to donating blood and promoting the cause within their communities. The oath was administered by NSS-Program Instructors who also shared insights on the medical benefits of regular blood donation for both donors and recipients.

"I pledge to donate blood regularly, to encourage others to donate, and to spread awareness about the critical need for safe blood and blood products. I commit to saving lives and making a positive difference in the world."
To honor the selfless contributions of regular blood donors of college, a special appreciation ceremony was held. Small tokens of gratitude were presented to Mukul Tyagi who donated blood regularly from the college community. Building on the success of theevent, the NSS Cell plans to organize regular blood donation camps and awareness programs throughout the academic year. These initiatives aim to create a robust culture of voluntary blood donation within the college and the broader community.
