Awareness campaign on Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

NSS unit, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida conducted an Awareness Campaign on “Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking” on 26th June, 2024 for the students to increase awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse and motivate the students towards a drug free life.
Students participated in campaign by taking pledge for "Say Yes to Life, No to Drugs”.
A group of 12 NSS volunteers, accompanied by Dr. Mamta Bhardwaj (NSS Program Officer), visited the nearby village of Gari Samastpur to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and the risks associated with illicit trafficking. The volunteers carried banners and placards with impactful slogans like “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life” and “Drugs Destroy Dreams.” They also distributed pamphlets containing detailed information on the harmful effects of drugs, signs of addiction, and helpline numbers for support and assistance.
Benefit/Outcome: The campaign not only raised awareness but also played a significant role in the collective fight against drug abuse and illicit trafficking within society.
