The conference aimed to foster innovation in optimization techniques and their applications in engineering and technology. It sought to promote interdisciplinary collaboration, bridge the gap between academia and industry, and advance sustainable technological solutions.
The 2nd International Conference on Optimization Techniques in Engineering and Technology (ICOTET 2024) commenced with an inspiring inauguration ceremony marked by an atmosphere of academic enthusiasm and intellectual engagement. The event was graced by a distinguished panel of dignitaries and experts setting the tone for two days of meaningful discourse and knowledge sharing.
The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Following this, the Book of Abstracts was officially unveiled, marking the formal commencement of ICOTET 2024. This publication encapsulates the groundbreaking research contributions submitted by participants, serving as a testament to the global relevance and interdisciplinary scope of the conference
The inauguration seamlessly transitioned into keynote addresses delivered by prominent experts in the field. These talks provided profound insights into the latest advancements in engineering, technology, and optimization techniques, laying the foundation for high-level discussions in the sessions that followed.
The ICOTET 2024 featured a total of nine meticulously organized technical sessions conducted over two days. These sessions were designed to provide a focused platform for researchers and practitioners from diverse technical domains to present and discuss their innovative research findings. Sessions are as Session-I (Optimization and Hybrid Algorithm), Session-II (Computational Methods), Session-III (Machine Learning), Session-IV (Environment and Sustainability) Session-V (Industry 4.0 and Automation), Session-VI (Product Design and Development), Session-VII (Detection Technique), Session-VIII (Electronics) and Session-IX (ONLINE) which Provided a virtual platform for researchers who were unable to attend in person, ensuring inclusivity and global participation.
Researchers from various academic and professional backgrounds participated, contributing original research articles to their respective thematic sessions. Each session was structured to facilitate meaningful exchanges of ideas and foster collaboration among experts, attendees, and presenters.
Structure of the Technical Sessions
- Each presenter was allocated 10 minutesto deliver a comprehensive presentation of their research work. This time frame was carefully chosen to ensure concise yet effective communication of key findings, methodologies, and implications.
- Presentations were followed by a short interactive discussion, allowing attendees and session reviewers to provide constructive feedback, ask questions, and engage in insightful dialogue.
- To ensure the quality and rigor of the conference, every research article presented during the technical sessions was reviewed by two expert panellistsspecifically assigned to the session. These experts provided critical evaluations and recommendations, ensuring a high standard of academic integrity and relevance.
- The technical sessions covered a wide range of topics, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of the conference. The systematic organization and active participation of both presenters and reviewers contributed significantly to the success of the event.
