Seven students from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, participated in the Eighth International Conference on Information and Communication Technology for Intelligent Systems (ICTIS) held at Renaissance Ahmedabad. Dr. Ritu Soryan (Dean, Student Welfare, DGI) accompanied the group.
The presentation fostered an atmosphere of collaboration and exchange of ideas among the attendees. On 4th April, 2024 the day began with the opening ceremony with lighting of the lamp, signifying the illumination of knowledge and innovation. Dr. Milan Tuba, Head of Artificial Intelligence Project at Singidunum University and Vice-Rector of Research at Sinergija University, Serbia, graced the occasion as the chief guest, adding prestige to the event.
The conference's welcome address was given by Dr. Amit Joshi (Global Research Foundation - Head and Director.) The Theme and Industry Address were given by Mr. Bharat Patel (Conference Chair, and Chairman of Yudiz Solutions Limited India), which was mesmerizing and knowledgeable for the audience, altering their thought process. Mr. Aninda Bose (Executive Editor at Springer Nature Group, London, United Kingdom) made people aware of Springer nature and the continuous frauds in research work, which was very useful for the participants to be aware of research work. Then the theme and academia address were delivered by Dr. Nilesh Modi (Professor, and Director of the School of Computer Science at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar University, India.) The inaugural address vote of thanks was given by Mr. Nakul Sharedalal, Founder of NS Legal, India.
Keynote session Speakers and Chairs included Dr. Durgesh Mishra (Director, and Professor at Symbiosis University of Applied Science, Indore, India); Dr. Nityesh Bhatt (Professor at Nirma University Institute of Management, India); Dr. Vijay Singh Rathore (Professor at CSE Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre, India); Dr. Nilanjan Dey (Professor at Techno International New Town, India); Dr. Dipankar Deb (Professor at the Institute of Infrastructure Technology, Research, and Management, India); Dr. Parikshit N. Mahalle (Professor, and Head at Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune, India); Dr. Nilesh Singh V. Thakur (Professor at Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur, India), and Dr. Ritu Soryan (DSW, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida.)
The overarching theme of the conference was to explore the theory, development, applications, experiences, and evaluation of interaction sciences within the realm of information and communication technology for intelligent systems. Discussions spanned various topics within this scope, aiming to deepen the participants' understanding of how intelligent systems evolved over time and their role in modern society.
A significant focus of the conference was on the impact of the World Wide Web in fostering intelligent information technologies. Attendees discussed the development of intelligent agents, distributed computing in heterogeneous environments, and computer-supported collaborative work, highlighting the importance of these advancements in addressing complex tasks in web-centric environments.
The mission of the ICTIS conference was to facilitate collaboration among researchers in fields such as information systems, distributed artificial intelligence, intelligent agents, and collaborative work. Through discussions and presentations, participants explored the design, implementation, and deployment of intelligent technologies, as well as the economic and organizational implications of these advancements.
On April 4th, 2024, three technical sessions proceeded simultaneously. In Technical Session -1 B, Mr. Kartik Bhardwaj, with his team including Ms. Devina Gandhi, Ms. Diya Saxena, and Ms. Sushmita Viswas, delivered their presentation on the paper titled “Breaking down Barriers: How Cloud Computing Drives Interoperability in Healthcare.” The question-answer session by the session chair was very well handled by the students, which they managed well. The session chair appreciated their confidence at this young age.
In the same hall, Technical Session -1 B, B.Tech Second Year Students Ms. Anshika Jain and Mr. Harshit Gupta delivered the presentation on the paper titled “Unveiling Conscious Computing: Cultivating AI Self-Awareness for Human-Like Thought and Sensibility”.
In another hall, Ms. Aarti Mohan, an MBA First Year Student, delivered her presentation on the paper titled “Social Responsibility of Business Entities in Achieving Sustainability: A CSR Review.”
On April 5th, 2024, in an online mode, Mr. Krishna Saxena, CSE AIML, delivered his presentation with his team, including Mr. Manas Aggarwal (CSE Dept.), Mr. Abhinav Gaur (ECZ Dept.), Ms. Shagun Mayank (CSE(AIML) Dept.), and Ms. Kashish (ECZ Dept.), on the paper titled “Decoding the Neural Nexus: Exploring Explainable AI’s Vital Link to Transparent Decision-Making.”
Dronacharya Students received one-on-one laptop bags with 2500/- each as appreciation for those who presented their papers in physical mode and received feedback through session chairs on how they can work in a more impressive way; the tips were useful for them.
On April 5th, 2024 students visited Career Mosaic International Private Limited Company for exposure, which was useful for them. Then they visited the Science City of Gujarat and explored different areas related to it and enjoyed a lot. In the evening, they had fun at the flower garden and the Atal bridge to carry themselves memories of the educational trip.
Overall, the Eighth International Conference on Information and Communication Technology for Intelligent Systems provided a platform for academia and industry experts to exchange insights, share research findings, and pave the way for future innovations in the field of intelligent systems and technologies.
