Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida in collaboration with Edunet Foundation organized a workshop on “Leveraging LinkedIn for Career Success” on 22nd November 2022. 71 students attended the workshop. Mr. Jitendra Rathod from Edunet Foundation was the keynote speaker of the workshop.
The objective of the workshop was to empower students with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively utilize LinkedIn as a professional networking platform.
The workshop began with a warm welcome from Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Srivastava (Registrar DGI), who introduced Mr. Rathod and presented him sapling as a token of appreciation. Mr. Rathod initiated the session by highlighting the importance of LinkedIn in today’s professional landscape, emphasizing its role in connecting individuals with recruiters, industry leaders, and career opportunities.
During the session, Mr. Rathod covered key topics such as creating an impactful LinkedIn profile, optimizing headlines and summaries, building a professional network, and engaging with content to showcase expertise. He also shared tips on leveraging LinkedIn’s features, such as job alerts, skill endorsements, and recommendations, to enhance career prospects.
The workshop included live demonstrations, where students were guided through LinkedIn tools and best practices, as well as interactive activities to help them develop compelling profiles. The session concluded with a Q&A segment, where students received personalized advice on improving their LinkedIn presence.
