Session on Power Electronics for GATE Prepration

IEEE Student Chapter, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, organized a session on Power Electronics on 1st November 2022. 68 students participated in the event. The session was conducted by Dr. Sandeep Mishra (Faculty Member, EEE Department).
The session was designed to enhance the students' knowledge of Power Electronics, a key subject in GATE, and equip them with the necessary concepts and problem-solving techniques.
Dr. Mishra’s expertise and experience in the field allowed him to break down complex topics into easy-to-understand segments. He covered fundamental concepts of Power Electronics, such as semiconductor devices, power converters, and switching techniques, providing practical insights and tips on how to approach related questions in the GATE exam. He also emphasized the importance of understanding core principles and their applications in real-world scenarios, which is crucial for both academic exams and future professional work in the field.
