One Day Workshop on Web Development

Department of Computer Science Engineering, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a One Day Workshop on WEB DEVELOPMENTon1st September 2018 in association with DGI-CSI Student Branch. The workshop was organized as a part of institution's continuous effort of developing project based learning approach in students through practical sessions. The training was imparted by Mr. Bipin Pandey, Assistant Professor - CSE which was attended by CSE / CSIT students of B. Tech 2nd year.
The program started with a motivating speech by Honorable Director, Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Soti. He encouraged the participants and suggested them to take up some projects at the end of their workshop, based on web development.
Mr. Pandey started the first session explaining various software development building approaches which included a detailed discussion of client side and server side scripting including the theoretical concept of DBMS. He also explained how the data is actually migrated from client to server in real time systems using the concept of client server architecture.
During Session 2, Mr. Pandey conducted a session on XHTML and CSS followed by students createing complete web pages with various features.
The workshop concluded with the assignments discussion which has to be submitted by the students.
