Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

NSS-Wing- Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an Awareness Program and Pledge Ceremony on the occasion of National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) on 31st Oct. 2017. Dr. S K Srivastava, Coordinator, NSS Wing supervised the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Ho'ble Director, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Soti said that Rashtriya Ekta Diwas was decided and introduced by the Central Government of India in New Delhi in 2014 in the presence of Hon’ble Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in order to observe the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel every year as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. It aims to pay tribute to him for his great efforts made to unite India.
Prof. Soti, also said that Sardar Patel as the first Home Minister of Independent India, laid the foundation of united India and national unity by persuading 562 small and large princely states to accede to the Indian Union.
Students and staffs took the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge and vowed to stay united and work for the development of our Country.
