Rhythm & Roots 2026 - A Grand Folk & Music Extravaganza

27th February 2026

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida successfully organized “Rhythm & Roots 2026,” on 27th February 2026 a grand cultural celebration that highlighted the richness of Indian folk traditions and musical heritage. The event was conducted in collaboration with Akashvani Delhi and aimed to encourage cultural appreciation while providing students and guests with an opportunity to experience traditional music and folk performances. The auditorium was beautifully decorated and transformed into a vibrant cultural space filled with color, rhythm, and excitement, creating an energetic atmosphere throughout the program.

The event featured a series of engaging performances that showcased the diversity and beauty of India’s cultural traditions. One of the major highlights of the evening was the soulful Sufi and live musical fusion performance by Dr. Alish Mohan and his band Sufi Folks. Their powerful vocals and captivating musical arrangements created a mesmerizing experience for the audience and added a unique charm to the event.

In addition to the musical performances, the program also included energetic folk-dance performances that reflected the vibrancy and spirit of Indian culture. The performers, dressed in colourful traditional attire, presented their dances with great enthusiasm and dedication. Their performances beautifully represented the richness of regional traditions and left the audience thoroughly entertained.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and invited guests. The performances created a lively and festive atmosphere on campus and inspired a strong sense of cultural pride among the audience. It also highlighted the importance of preserving and appreciating India’s traditional art forms and cultural heritage.

Overall, Rhythm & Roots 2026 proved to be a memorable cultural experience for the entire campus community. The event successfully celebrated India’s folk traditions and musical legacy while reinforcing the institution’s commitment to promoting cultural awareness and artistic expression among students. It served as a vibrant reminder of how music and dance can bring people together and help preserve the timeless heritage of India.
