Technical Training Program by Tech SakSham - Edunet Foundation

18th - 23rd March 2024

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Women Development Cell (WDC) of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida in collaboration with Tech Saksham – Edunet Foundation conducted a Technical Training Program from 18^th March -23^rd March, 2024.

The program, led by Mr. Ankit from Edunet Foundation, featured enthusiastic learners focused on gaining industry-relevant technical skills, especially aimed at empowering women for careers in technology. Supported by Microsoft Corporation India Pvt. Ltd. and SAP India Ltd., the initiative emphasized inclusivity and professional growth in tech.

The inauguration on 18th March was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Arpita Gupta (Director, DGI) and Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Srivastava (Registrar, DGI), who warmly welcomed Mr. Ankit. In the opening address, Mr. Ankit shared the vision of the Tech Saksham program and its commitment to creating opportunities for women in tech.

The program was structured into two segments:

Foundation Course (Basic):

• Linux Operating System
• Introduction to Database
• Front-End Web Development
• Java Programming Basics
• Azure Cloud Fundamentals

Deep Dive Modules:

• Full Stack Web Development
• Cloud Computing
• Artificial Intelligence

Skill development was further facilitated through job placement assistance, internships, and entrepreneurship support. The program was smoothly coordinated by Ms. Nandini Tomar (Asst. Professor) and Mr. Bharat Bhushan (System Administrator).

On the closing day, 23^rd March 2024, Ms. Richa Jaiswal (T&P Head) thanked all stakeholders for their efforts and contributions. The training program marked a significant stride towards bridging the gender gap in technology and fostering a diverse, inclusive workforce.
