Ucertify Informational and Interactive Session

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an 'Informational and Interactive Session' by Ucertify on April 16, 2018. The target audience was B.Tech CSE / IT / ECE pre final year students.
uCertify, headquartered in Pleasanton, CA, was founded on the belief that we "learn by doing" and interactivity is the key to effective learning, using virtual environments where students learn by doing. The virtual environment encourages safe exploration and experimentation resulting in better learning. uCertify platform is equally effective for self-paced, instructor-led or blended learning.
The company is a regular campus recruiter from Dronacharya Group and they visited the college to create an awareness about the brand as a whole and for the preliminary ice breaking session with them. Mr. Ayush Mittal and Mr. Swapnil facilitated the event.
They were welcomed by Prof. Ashish Soti - Director DGI, GN. After a brief talk, the session began with the company's presentation by Mr. Mittal. He ran the students through the company's profile and told them the nature of work they are doing. He explained about the profiles and the salary package they offer. He also told the students about the facilities the company is providing to their employees.
He told the students about the prestigious US CODIE award which they have been getting and the standing ovation which the Ucertify TEAM got on winning the award. He also advised the students of the vast gap between Academics and Industry expectations and the ways to fill this gap. He said that there is big recession in the industry due to the recent changes in the US market and the students must be flexible for open roles and challenges in any profile they get in.
Post this session, there was a Technical Quiz with the students in which he asked various Technical questions to the students and the winners were given prizes.
