1st Round Presentation of Ideas for Innovation Gallery
6th & 7th April 2018
With reference to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow letter, Ref. No. AKTU / DeanUG / KCIIS / 2018 / 08 Dated 12 Jan 2018, the university had invited proposals for prototyping grant for which it received excellent response. After initial screening, thirty ideas were shortlisted for presentation to be made on 6th April 2018 at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. The top 30 teams were selected on the basis of their abstract and feasibility.
Through KCIIS, AKTU had provided an exciting chance for students to make innovative ideas heard on state platform where selected teams would get a chance for having start-up for their products as well as funding with Rs.12000. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University's Entrepreneurship Development Programme is for every student having an idea that can solve an unavoidable real life problem.
The project SMART HELMET developed under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Mrs. Monu Singh by Shivam Yadav, Sunny Singh, Rakshit Sharma and Pankaj Ramola, students of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, was one of the projects shortlisted for the presentation.
In the presentation held on 6th April 2018 in AKTU, Lucknow, the shortlisted team made the presentation in front of juries. The jury team comprised of several members with expertise across a range of issues relevant to the projects. They gauged the projects based on the applicants’ Scientific Thought, Engineering Goals, Creativity, Skill, Clarity and Commitment.
The result is yet to be declared.
The best entries will be displayed at the Kalam Innovation Gallery at the university.
