Tech-O-Tonic 2018

5th - 6th April, 2018

Tech-O-Tonic:2018, a Tech Fest organized by Department of Computer Science, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida under the banner of DGI-CSI Student Chapter was held on 5th - 6th April 2018. During the two days events, Tech-Talk (Technical Poster Presentation), Pro-Wizards  (Project competition), Code Race (Coding Competition), Marionette (Mannequin Challenge) and Inquisition (Treasure Hunt) was organized.

The programme was inaugurated on 5th April 2018 with the Lighting of Lamp by Hon’ble Director DGI Dr. Ashish Soti, Registrar Prof. B.L.Kaul, DGI-CSI Coordinator Prof. Shanthi Makka and all HODs.

In the first event, Tech-Talk, the participants designed and presented posters on Digital India, HelioDisplay, Brain Finger Print Technology, 3D Internet, Artificial Intelligence and many more advance topics.

In the second event Pro-Wizards, participants displayed their working prototype of their Projects. In the Code Race, programmers were given set of questions and top ten were selected based on efficiency, accuracy and time taken for the completion of the program.

In Marionette, participants prepared a video of 1 minute on randomly given topic, with a mannequin act.

The most awaited event Inquisition - hunt your treasure,  was full energy and enthusiasm. The two days event was marked with learning, cooperation, innovation and team building.

During the Valedictory session, Hon’ble Director Dr. Ashish Soti and Registrar Prof. B.L.Kaul gave away prizes to the winners. Event coordinator Ms. Shanthi Makka proposed the Vote of Thanks.
