Basant Panchmi Celebration

On the occasion of ‘Basant Panchmi’, the students and faculty members of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida came together to seek the blessings of the goddess of knowledge, music, art and culture, Maa Saraswati on 14th February 2024. The festival of Basant Panchami also marks the end of winter and the onset of spring.
The day was celebrated with a lot of devotion and dedication by worshiping Goddess Saraswati, who is the fountain head of all learning and art forms. Maa Saraswati is workshipped to seek wisdom, artistic and technical skills, academic excellence and a good heart.
A ‘hawan’ was organized to offer tribute to the Goddess of Learning amidst the chants of the Vandana of Maa Saraswati, led by Prof. (Dr.) K.K. Saini Director, DGI and Prof.(Dr.) S.K. Srivastava, Registrar, DGI. All Faculty members staff members, and the students joined the festivity
The celebrations were followed with the distribution of Prasad. Bhandara was also organized after the HAWAN.
