2 Faculty member Dr. Shailesh Kumar Singh and Dr. Deepak Kumar from Mechanical Department of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida attended one week AICTE -ATAL Sponsored Faculty Development Program on “Digital Transformation for IT Enabled Supply Chain: Importance and Applications (DTSCIA-24)” from 12th - 17th February, 2024 organized by Department of Production & Industrial Engineering, Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University) Chandigarh.
The theme of the FDP is the rapid digitization of the supply chain landscape, it’s important for ecommerce businesses to catch up to this transformation to remain competitive. Supply chain digitization is the process of replacing manual or analog processes throughout the ecommerce supply chain with digital solutions. This FDP will educate the participants about the digital concept aligned with role of Information Technology in improving the supply chain performance to remain existing in the competitive marketplace as todays. Also, it will be highly useful in order to exchange ideas, knowledge, skill and experience among participants and experts relevant to importance of IT and digitalization in supply chain in order to enhance the overall logistics performance of an organization.
In brief, objectives may be visualized as:
