Virtual Session on AWS Generation AI Journey

CSI Student Chapter, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a webinar “AWS Generative AI Journey" on 27th February, 2024. Mr. Vibhor Gupta was the expert speaker of the session. 64 students attended the event.
The objective of session was to educate students about the latest advancements and tools in Artificial Intelligence (AI) offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The webinar began with a warm welcome to Mr. Vibhor Gupta, who set the tone with an engaging introduction to Generative AI. He explained its core principles, including the use of algorithms to generate content like text, images, and audio, simulating human creativity. He further highlighted the revolutionary impact of Generative AI across industries.
- Healthcare: Mr. Gupta shared examples of how Generative AI aids in creating personalized treatment plans, accelerating drug discovery, and generating realistic medical images for research purposes.
- Retail:He demonstrated how businesses utilize Generative AI for predictive analytics, customer personalization, and crafting dynamic marketing strategies.
- Entertainment:Real-world use cases like automated content creation, game design, and realistic character generation were also discussed, emphasizing the creative possibilities of Generative AI.
A unique aspect of the webinar was a hands-on demonstration of AWS tools and services. Mr. Gupta introduced participants to Amazon SageMaker, a comprehensive platform for building, training, and deploying machine learning models. He walked through other AWS services such as Amazon Rekognition and Comprehend, showcasing their capabilities in image recognition and natural language processing. The practical segment helped participants visualize how these tools could be implemented in real-world scenarios.
The webinar was an enriching experience for all attendees, providing them with a deeper understanding of Generative AI and its practical applications.
