NSS Unit, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized “NSS Outreach Program” for students of Government Inter College, Nandgram on 27th February, 2024.
The National Service Scheme (NSS) outreach program, titled "Educating for Excellence: Nourishing the Mind, Fueling Success – The Vital Role of Nutrition in Student Performance," aims to promote awareness about the critical connection between nutrition and academic performance among students. The initiative not only emphasize the importance of proper nutrition but also offer practical advice on how students can improve their mental and physical well-being through better eating habits, ultimately helping them excel in their educational journeys.
Dr. Mamta Bhardwaj (NSS PO) introduced students to the significance of a balanced diet in maintaining energy levels, boosting cognitive function, and enhancing concentration. She highlighted how proper nutrition plays an essential role in mental clarity, memory retention, and overall well-being. She engaged students, providing valuable insights into the importance of healthy eating habits and how these can contribute to improved academic outcomes. The program also included practical demonstrations of nutritious food options and easy-to-prepare meals. The students actively participated, raising questions and discussing the challenges of maintaining a healthy diet.
The program concluded with a call to action for the students to incorporate healthier food choices into their daily routines to achieve academic excellence and better health.
